Level Up/Down Thresholds
The following constraints are active to mitigate variance:
- Move Down Rule: If the bankroll drops below the 30-buy-in threshold for the current level, an immediate demotion is mandatory to preserve capital.
- Level Up Requirement: Advancement to 5NL requires completion of 10,000 hands and the satisfaction of the 40–50 buy-in padding for the subsequent tier.
Note: External contingency funds ($500) are reserved for the 25NL entry point and are not to be utilized for 2NL or 5NL drawdowns.
